Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Start AI Cincy website, assessments, consulting, AI training for small business engagements, and digital products, including the AI Trust Pack. By purchasing or using a product or service, you agree to these Terms. Start AI Cincy is the seller.

Service Scope

Recommendations are advisory and implementation support focused on business workflow improvements. Final business decisions remain with the client.

AI Trust Pack

The AI Trust Pack is a local-first documentation and sales-enablement workspace. It helps a business organize information, prepare customer-facing materials, and document its AI practices. It is not legal advice, a certification, a security assessment, or a guarantee of compliance, revenue, customer approval, or any other business outcome.

Digital Delivery

For the founding release, delivery is made by email to the address supplied at checkout within one business day after successful payment. You are responsible for providing a valid email address and checking spam or filtering folders. If your order has not arrived within that period, contact us at MarkVincentPhillips@gmail.com. If we cannot deliver the product, we will issue a full refund.

License

A purchase grants one business a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product internally. The business's employees and contractors may use it solely while working for that business. You may make reasonable backup copies.

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publicly host, or share the product outside the purchasing business. You may not reverse engineer the software or extract its templates or content to create or offer a competing product. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Start AI Cincy.

Your Responsibilities

You must review and verify all content, evidence, recommendations, and exports before relying on or sharing them. AI-assisted or user-entered content may be incomplete or inaccurate. You remain responsible for your representations to customers, your compliance obligations, your lawful use of the product, and compliance with any third-party provider terms that apply to your business.

Local-First Data and Backups

The AI Trust Pack stores workspace data locally in your browser. Start AI Cincy does not receive that workspace data merely because you use the product. You are responsible for exports and backups and for the security of your browser, device, and files. Clearing browser storage, changing browsers or devices, or losing access to a device may cause data loss.

Billing

Billing is processed through Stripe after a qualified assessment intro call and package confirmation, or at checkout for digital products. Digital product pricing is a one-time charge unless the checkout page clearly states otherwise. You are responsible for applicable taxes. Except as provided by the refund policy below or required by law, payments are final.

14-Day Digital Product Refund Policy

You may request a refund for a digital product within 14 calendar days of purchase by emailing MarkVincentPhillips@gmail.com from, or identifying, the email address used at checkout. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. After a refund, your license ends and you must delete all copies of the refunded product. We may deny fraudulent or abusive requests to the extent permitted by law. This policy does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Founding-Edition Updates

Founding-edition customers may receive future founding-edition updates that Start AI Cincy chooses to release. Purchase does not include a promise of perpetual support, a particular update schedule, or any specific future feature.

Intellectual Property

Start AI Cincy and its licensors retain ownership of the product, website, templates, branding, and related intellectual property. You retain ownership of the business information and original content you enter into the product.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, products and services are provided "as is" and "as available." Start AI Cincy disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so they may not apply to you.

Limitation

We do not guarantee specific revenue outcomes. AI recommendations should be reviewed for policy, compliance, and operational fit. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Start AI Cincy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Start AI Cincy's total liability arising from a product or service will not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product or service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

Termination

We may terminate access or a license for a material breach of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and payment obligations, will survive.

Ohio Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Hamilton County, Ohio, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Changes apply prospectively and will not retroactively reduce a refund promise that applied when you purchased.
